Linear Programming
In math, we did a Linear Programming Project. We first went over what Linear Programming even is, which is a method that uses linear equations and inequalities to determine an optimal solution. Then, we were asked to be in groups of three and solve one assigned problem and one problem of our choosing. We were allowed to use desmos for our graphs.
I was luckily in a group with two of my friends and we were able to quickly solve both problems. We were assigned to do #5, and we chose to do #2. We had to identify our variables, created our linear equations to graph, as well as find our objective function. Using desmos made this project a lot easier, since we didn't have to do the graphing ourselves. I go over the 21st Century Skills in the slideshow at the very end, but it greatly represents four different 21st Century Skills. Thinking and Problem Solving, Communication, Interpersonal, and Financial Literacy Skills. How I use each skill and how it applies to the project is in the slideshow. |
