This project is titled our algebra book project. What we do in this project is work either independently or with a partner to create a short story involving algebra and algebraic terms. My story was, for no specific reason, about a pigeon who moved away from California to New York. Within the story, the Pigeon sought out revenge against the pigeons of New York for treating him badly. The story ends with him getting caught and having to “make up” for it.
I think this project represents the 21st century skill Thinking and Problem Solving Skills because through this project we had to learn how to incorporate 5 sets of problems into a fun, entertaining story for elementary students to watch.
I’m proud of this assignment because not only did I work on this independently, I did something that other students didn’t. I didn’t make a book, or a slideshow or a video like other students did, but I make a comic book/slideshow sort of presentation. By the end, I did rush this project. But I did enjoy it very much.
