PROGRESS PRESENTATION
We have a class called "Junior Seminar" and for this semester, we are working on our Junior Projects. We are meant to make progress posts on Instagram almost every week just for our teachers to know how our projects are coming along. With that, we also had to make a progress presentation, which essentially summarizes all of our weekly progress reports into one slideshow. We had to include the following things to get full credit: your project title name, your driving question(s), your one pager, people who are helping you, what you have fulfilled so far, and what comes next.
If you look through the presentation, you understand that I am making a series of podcasts regarding the declining mental health in students. Mental health is an important topic to me as I know man people who struggle with it themselves. The purpose of my project is to create a safe space for students as well as uplift their voices because I personally feel as if mental health in students isn't talked about nearly enough as it should be. This project is an amazing example of both Self-Directional Skills and Communication Skills. Since this project of mine is entirely student driven, all of the information I presented was entirely because I take the steps forward to get it done outside of school with little guidance from my teachers. You can also see inside of the presentation that I don't necessarily explain, or go in depth, about what I wrote. This is because I wanted to explain while I was presenting it, rather than having my audience simply read the screen. |
